The Mark Of The Beast
THE MARK OF THE BEAST
There has been a considerable amount of speculation over the past few years concerning the ‘mark of the beast’. Blog sites, post comment sections, and youtube constantly present new suppositions and theories. Various embedded microchip systems have the longest popularity along with chipped credit cards, fingerprint scans, iris systems, and facial recognition bring up a close second place. To the best of my knowledge, there is absolutely no scriptural backing for such a thing.
In my opinion, the biggest blunder made by prophecy enthusiasts is seeking answers in the world of today. Viewing prophecy components as if they could happen in our present civilization is unreasonable considering that the ‘mark of the beast’ occurs at a point in history when our current civilization will be turned upside down, even though it may only be a few years away. USA citizens are the worst offenders because they either think the whole world is the same as the USA or that last-days prophecy will only affect Americans.
It may be that some people so highly intrigued with aliens, fallen angels, demons, and nephilim, to the point they believe (or consider) that some DNA transfer must be the answer to the ‘mark of the beast’ and the Revelation/end times mystique. They read some article full of errors and half-truths about fallen angels and/or Nephilim and come to the mistaken conclusion that the problem is solved. It is amazing that very few people understand (although they may think they do) Biblical end-times prophecy much less even bother to carefully read and study the material. Never mind that God flooded the world to exterminate fallen angel DNA. Afterwards, there was a small outbreak, probably through one of Noah’s son’s wives, but the troops of Joshua, and later the soldiers of David, exterminated the remnants. Read all about it in the book of Joshua.
Today, there are some who believe and preach that fallen angel DNA continues in some of the blood lines of small groups such as the Black Nobility (and there may be others). This may be possible but unlikely.
Although the books of the Revelation, Daniel, and other prophetic scripture contain symbolic figures, similes, and metaphors, it is my contention (and belief) that all symbolic language is explained in context (usually by an angel). The concept that prophecy is not understandable because it is written in figurative or symbolic expressions is false. Otherwise all scriptural material should be taken as the literal Word of God. With that said, let me explain my understanding of the ‘mark of the beast’.
Daniel 11 is a synopsis of the Persian empire and the Greek empire: which is divided between Alexander’s 4 generals; then focuses on the Antiochus line, specifically Epiphanes, spoken of by Jesus;
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) (Mat 24:15 KJV)
Then in Dan 11:35 the concept of Antiochus is transferred to the AC (or beast). In Daniel 7 the AC will war against the king of the north and south; he will defeat Egypt, Libya, and Ethiopia; then the AC will set his camp (palace) in or around Jerusalem.
And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
(Dan 11:45 KJV)
As written in Dan 11:45, the AC will be killed but then resurrected (or come back to life).
This scenario is alluded to in Rev 17:10-11. The AC is the 7th king who reigns for a short period and then is killed. When resurrected he becomes the eighth but is one of the seven.
And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
(Revelation 17:10-11 KJV)
He will then stop the sacrificial system, enter the temple (which will have been rebuilt around that time), and declare himself to be ‘god’. The next step is to build a statue of his image (abomination of desolation) and then require everyone to either worship the image or be killed. [cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.] The next step is to give all who worship the image a mark [mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads]
And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
(Rev 13:14-16 KJV)
MARK χάραγμα charagma
Thayer Definition:
- a stamp, an imprinted mark 1b) the mark branded upon horses
Strongs Definition a scratch or etching, that is, stamp (as a badge of servitude)
Other dictionaries give essentially the same definitions
It should be scripturally noted that:
- The world will be divided into 10 regions
- the AC will take over 3 of those regions
- The AC’s wars
- The AC’s death and resurrection
- The AC’s boast that he is ‘god’
- The statue or image of the AC (abomination of desolation)
- Worship the image of the AC or die
- The mark will be given to worshippers
I personally believe that the mark will be an “on the skin” tattoo or brand, not a computer chip, a vaccine, or a Nephilim DNA alteration.

The Biblical term “antichrist” isn’t referring to one individual, but to a class of people who are antichrist. There is no “the antichrist”, there are hundreds of millions of them. The mark of the beast isn’t a physical mark either. it is the acceptance of the “desires of the world”. It is being part of the world rather than, as the scriptures admonish us to be, living “in” the world as alien residents. Being no part of the world means no politics, war, government involvement, involvement in religion as the scriptures say all religion is false, and not doing the will of Satan, but doing ONLY the entire will of God, with NO EXCEPTIONS. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. LIVING as the first century Christians did. Preaching to all, urgently, the warnings of the coming Kingdom government. Preaching all to flee from all religion. If you don’t understand the scriptures, one shouldn’t preach their misunderstanding. That makes one God’s enemy.
Yes, I understand that the word ‘antichrist’ is only found in the epistles of John. However, the word ‘antichrist’ is the most used word for the: man of sin; man of lawlessness, the abomination of desolation; the little horn; the beast; and others I haven’t time to mention.
As I wrote above the “mark of the beast” it is a mark or etching.
Brown-Driver-Briggs Dictionary says:
- Transliteration: Charagma
- Phonetic: khar’-ag-mah
- Definition:
1. a stamp, an imprinted mark
a. of the mark stamped on the forehead or the right hand as the badge of the followers of the Antichrist
b. the mark branded upon horses
2. thing carved, sculpture, graven work
a. of idolatrous images
As you can read above it is defined as a: stamp, imprinted mark; a horse brand; something carved; etc.
It you can point out where the Bible says the mark is: the acceptance of the “desires of the world” then I will correct myself, however you will not be able to do that.
Quote If you don’t understand the scriptures, one shouldn’t preach their misunderstanding. That makes one God’s enemy. UnQuote
I believe that line applies to you. I have read your almost exact comment on another post on this site. My goal is to expound scripture as it it written not bend, twist, or omit any part of it.
How can you take these words of scripture:
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:16-17 KJV)
and make it mean: the acceptance of the “desires of the world” is totally beyond my understanding.
You could be one of those many (millions) antichrists, false teachers, false prophets, etc.
Be careful with your teaching. I only teach the word of God as it it written in the Bible. No more, no less, and nothing else.
Surely the modern usage of the term means what your references say in the contemporary definition. However, in the definition that was contemporary to Jesus and to John, and all the apostles, it meant all those who accepted the world, and did not refer to a physical mark. All of the references in the scriptures that one can claim indicates a physical mark, are actually not literal. Jesus taught his Apostles and disciples to be “no part of the world”, and to not accept it’s desires. Doing so means you have the mark of the beast. Accepting as normal, the persuance of money, the unscriptural moral attitudes of the world, the turning one’s back on God, the acceptance and participation in any religion, the usage of inaccurate scriptural translations, and so on. Those things all originated with Satan, and he is the “beast”. Accepting the world that he has been ruling for so long, means siding with him. That’s the mark of the beast. Practically no one adheres to what God teaches us through His word. Practically no one does the will of God in it’s entirety. Practically no one will be protected in the final battle. Only those who do the entire will of God will be protected. Less than ten million by my guesstimation. The rest are going to be destroyed, as indicated in Revelation to John.
Ephraim;
You say you teach only the word of God. From where do you get that Word? If it comes from a translation that isn’t accurate, then you ‘re actually not teaching God’s word. It’s pretty difficult to find an accurate translation, since out of 38 translations, 35 are filled with falsehoods and mistranslations. It is not I who needs to be careful, but anyone who uses anything resembling a KJV Bible, a DR or a NIV or an ASV or any of the other butchered translations that most of the world believes is accurate, but actually is completely inaccurate. I’ve compared all English translations to the original texts, and most give people a completely different set of teachings than what God had written by the Bible’s 40 penmen.
Ephraim;
Using a translation of God’s word that is faulty, won’t give you accurate information. KJV is as bad as they get. It’s FULL of mistranslations that are deliberate. Please, quote from an accurate translation.
I have a quest for you. Write a thorough post outlining all Bibles with faulty translation and give many examples why they are a faulty translation.
Then tell the world which version is accurate (if any)
Then employ your vast Hebrew and Greek knowledge and compose a translation that is accurate in your mind. If you have any problems with your accurate Bible please contact Dr. Michael Heiser, a Hebrew Bible expert, and he could assist you with the faults.

While you are doing this, please stop trolling prophecy posts and spewing out the continual nonsense about bad translations and wrong understanding because, after a while nobody is paying any attention to it.
I love the Lord and I love the Bible. I use several versions along with various Greek and Hebrew dictionaries and I am not going to change even if you wrote an encyclopedia of contempt about me and/or my posts. I’m trying to help people understand eschatology and you just seem to be throwing alligators into the swimming pool.
Have a good day.
Ephraim;
Why would I want to do that? That is absurd to suggest, no offense intended.
You posted:While you are doing this, please stop trolling prophecy posts and spewing out the continual nonsense about bad translations and wrong understanding because, after a while nobody is paying any attention to it.
I am not “trolling prophecy posts and spewing out continual nonsense…”, I am posting because I have found, so far, 6 honest hearted people who truly want to draw close to God and learn the truth of the scriptures, and have always been skeptical of their false religious beliefs. That is my job. My job is not to educate those who simply want to spew their own false beliefs. You, and most people, slurp up falsehoods like a starving man slurps up a hot meal. They then defend those false beliefs at all cost, never realizing that they’re actually defending Satan’s efforts at “misleading the entire inhabited Earth”. You are defending the same thing. Your opinion of what I do is of no consequence to me whatsoever. It is, probably, of consequence to others who believe what you post. It means their life. All Christians, TRUE CHRISTIANS, are required to tell the truth to others, and to warn them of the coming government, God’s Kingdom, that will soon begin ruling Earth. If you’re such a scholar, you would know all of this already, but you appear to not have a clue about it. About one in a thousand show an interest in the truth, and about ten percent of them actually abandon false religion, and follow God’s word instead. Religion causes one to draw AWAY from God, by filling them with lies like cross, immortal soul, trinity, hell, ghost, and many, many other lies. I don’t need to write a new Bible that is accurate, and I don’t need to admonish non-honest hearted people, such as yourself. You and those that believe what you do, will never experience the Kingdom of the Heavens, and will be destroyed along with all other religionists and religion, and government. The scriptures explain all of this pretty clearly. When you look at the two main themes of God’s word, you get an understanding of most of what He wants to tell us: The sanctification, or making holy of God’s PERSONAL name, not His title; and the government that will soon rule Earth completely, the one ruled by Jesus, who did assume his throne a hundred years ago. He ejected Satan from heaven, along with his rebellious angel compatriots, to the vicinity of the Earth. He is angry because he knows he only has a short time. Shortly after that happened, WWI began, then WWII. Ever since, the world has been at war. Pestilence, earthquakes, lovelessness and hatred have dominated society and the news. It continues to worsen daily. These warning signs of the final battle indicate the accuracy of what I have posted about Armageddon coming. In fact, only one sign remains, and could literally happen any day. No one knows the day or time, not even Jesus, but God the Father knows. If it happens today, are YOU ready? Your posts indicate that you’re not. So, stop posting with emotion and hatred. Stop teaching falsehoods and trying to teach eschatology of the scriptures, and teach the TRUTH found in them instead. Or not. Your choice of course. The consequences of your choice are yours also.

How in the world did the Saints of God survive with out YOUR special translation of the Bible?
for hundreds of years all those called out of the world to God could only study the Law and the Prophets hand written by the Jews and the hand copied letters of the apostles.
Then, for what, a thousand years the only bible available was the catholic version??
AND now YOU have in your hand the only perfect Bible???? without which one can not know the TRUTH??? REALLY, and God the Father and Jesus Christ are aware of the fact that only one special translation has TRUTH? What will they Do???
My FATHER leads His Saints to the Truth and the Light of the Truth comes through Jesus Christ.
All translations are of MEN! Without the power of God the Father’s Spirit dwelling in a person it is impossible for a human carnal mind to understand TRUTH.
Truthseeker;
It appears that your moniker “truthseeker” is indeed misleading. You have no desire for the truth, do you? You make posts based on emotion. Your baseless arguments do not change the facts and the history of Bible translations.
You claim that there was a Bible before 325 a.d. That’s crazy. No Bible existed prior to one being assembled from the scrolls that the Apostles and the Prophets wrote. Your information is as false as the KJV or the Catholic DR Bibles. You will never be close to God with your attitude, and you will never see the Kingdom with your attitude and false knowledge and teachings.
It is God’s word to which we must adhere, not a Bible changed to fit the political environment of almost 2,000 years ago. JKV and most other translations are FILLED with mistranslated words. Stick to them if you want to be destroyed. It is your choice. God did say to “take in accurate knowledge daily”, but for you , that’s not possible. You refuse to use anything but faulty information.
mikesavage
now I wonder about your ability to even read—- where did I say there was a Bible before 325 AD.
Moses wrote down the Words of God after the Exodus, that is called the Law and the Prophets
During the first few decades after the resurrection of Christ the Apostles sent letters which were copied and passed around.
My understanding is the Roman Catholic church took the Apostles letters and the Old Testament and copied them by hand until the printing press was invented.
I have not looked into when man started to translate the Bible into different interpretations , but the translation you are “selling” has to be of late vintage.
I am very glad you see a “great differences” between us, I do not have the spirit that is in you and I reject that spirit completely.
The Spirit of God the Father that was placed in me came by the laying on of hands.

I will make one more statement:
I reject 98% of the doctrine you preach.
I want nothing to do with you or who you are following.
Believe what you want, but your belief about tme is completely wrong. I know you don’t care for the truth, but what I posted is the truth. The antichrist refers to all who are antichrist, not an individual. In understanding a scripture, one must look at all other scriptures that refer to the same subject to discern it’s meaning. It is necessary to understand exactly what means. Inaccurate information pretty much means your destruction. The scriptures most use are KJV or Douahy Rheims. They are filled with deliberately mistranslated words designed to mislead. Even in the KJV it says Satan is misleading the entire inhabited Earth. Read Revelation 12:9. That Bible has changed stauros, hades, sheol, pneumos, God’s personal name (not His title which is God or Lord) and hundreds of other words that totally change the entire message of the scriptures. Changing ecclesia, which means people or congregation, depending upon context, to church, totally changes any scripture where church is. Changing sheol and hades to hell, when they mean “common grave of man”, totally changes the entire Bible. It helps to mislead people into thinking that we have a part of us that survives death, when many other scriptures say we do not. Revelation warns us to get out of all religion, because all religion is false and opposes God’s word. The KJV leads one to believe that religion isn’t false, thus serving Satan’s purposes in misleading the entire world.
Such misleading causes one to believe that there is a “the antichrist” when there is not. It’s all those who are antichrist. Such misleading causes people to believe what you believe, and to post what you post. If you don’t know actually what the scriptures say, then stop being so self righteous in your posts. Try the humility that God and His son admonish us all to posess.
Since the “doctrine” as you call it, that I preach is precisely what the scriptures say, then you reject 98% of God’s word. I am not surprised.

Truthseeker;
Isn’t what you wish to study the inspired word of God? Using the KJV isn’t studying what God inspired 40 people to write. Changing what God inspired makes one His enemy, and causes the destruction of all who use it. Defending Satan’s work means not defending God’s work, and means not defending God Himself. You violently defend false translations for some reason. It is what was inspired that we all need to know and learn and you refuse flatly to do so. Since God gave us free will with the new covenant that His son made with us, the night before he died, then it’s yours to decide to do, but it’s also yours to accept God’s judgement for doing so. Not doing His will is death. Doing His will in it’s entirety means life. I know without a doubt that you do not do God’s will in it’s entirety, or you wouldn’t be posting such haughty and unscriptural things. The “birds of the heavens” will be eating your flesh after the final battle is over when they cleanse the Earth as Revelation clearly and plainly says.
Well put, Ephraim, and that’s a test i’m not looking forward to. Sort of like Mel Gibson’s Mayan movie. I can only trust i will be given the courage to die well.
