Organizations Dedicated to Accelerating Connecticut-based Companies’ Growth will hold Event at Fairfield University on November 23

FAIRFIELD, Conn (MMD Newswire) November 13, 2015 — Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy will present the keynote address at the Fifth Annual Connecticut Economic Forum, co-sponsored by the Connecticut Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (CTTMA) and the Connecticut Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG CT). The event will take place at Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business on Monday, November 23, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The forum will consist of two informative panels on the economy and doing business in Connecticut. The first panel, “Connecticut’s Economic Outlook” will be moderated by Donald E. Gibson, Ph.D., Dean and Professor, Charles F. Dolan School of Business, Fairfield University. Panelists include Dr. Philip Lane, Associate Professor of Economics, Dolan School of Business and John Traynor, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, People’s United Bank.

The second panel, “The Challenges & Opportunities of Doing Business in Connecticut” will be moderated by Catherine Smith, Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Economic & Community Development (DECD). Panelists include Paul Soucy, Chief Financial Officer of Carling Technologies, Virginia P’an, Chief Executive Officer, Yumi Eco Solutions and Chad Burhance, Partner, NewOak Credit Services.
