Gentiva Hospice Sponsors Children's Grief Camp at Camp Gideon in Acworth, GA

Atlanta, GA (MMD Newswire) August 4, 2015 — Gentiva Hospice, a member of the Gentiva Health Services family of home health and hospice companies, is sponsoring a FREE children’s grief camp – Camp I Believe – for children ages 7-17 who have experienced the death of a loved one. Open to children across the Atlanta Metro area, Camp I Believe will take place Friday, September, 18th to Sunday, September 20th, 2015 at Camp Gideon in Acworth, GA near Lake Allatoona.

Camp activities and programs help children to express feelings, build confidence, foster a sense of community, and identify with other children and adolescents who are experiencing similar struggles. Camps are organized and operated by skilled professionals such as social workers, bereavement and spiritual care coordinators, and trained volunteers.
