Aqua-Tots Swim Schools - Donates Free Swim Lessons in February to TEXAS Families to Help Prevent Drownings in the Rio Grande Valley

PLACE: Aqua-Tots Swim Schools- 3 Indoor year-round locations in McAllen and Brownsville.

WHAT: A FREE swim lesson for children ages 6 months to 14 years old

WHY: Due to the increase in recent childhood drownings in the Rio Grande Valley, Aqua-Tots Swim Schools is offering all children ages 6 months to 14 years old a FREE swim lesson at their McAllen and Brownsville swim centers to help families keep their children safe around water. Classes will be open to McAllen and Brownsville families every afternoon for one week to help stop these preventable accidents.

For over 20 years, Aqua-Tots has been helping to prevent drownings by teaching children water safety. The Aqua-Tots Swim Schools franchise currently has over 40 locations throughout the United States and has international locations, as well, in Mexico, Kuwait, and Turkey. Canada, England, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE all have Aqua-Tots locations opening soon.

HISTORY: Ron and Jane Sciarro, natives of Phoenix, Arizona, founded Aqua-Tots Swim Schools in July 1991. Aqua-Tots started franchising its swim school concept in 2007, and they have now opened 43 locations worldwide with 17 more facilities to come throughout 2015. SERVICES: Aqua-Tots Swim Schools offers 10 different class formats for varying skill levels and ages; their teaching methods encourage an active role by parents. In addition to swim lessons, the schools host indoor pool parties and participate in community outreach programs.
