The TIME OUT lock is a timed lock that looks like a padlock and can be used to lock up a variety of things such as a refrigerator, cabinet, pantry, etc. You can lock yourself out of these things or someone else for 1 minute to 24 hours. The lock remains closed until the designated period of time elapses. It is set up to be cheat proof so you can properly keep yourself in check for your “Time Out” period.
The Time Out lock is one of those ideas that you may have thought of before or even checked to see if it existed. Many people may have thought, “I wish I could lock up my refrigerator so I would quit snacking!” Now you can with this new invention.
Parents can also use the TIME OUT lock to put their kids in a Time Out by locking up video games, cell phones, tablets, etc. Kids are able to monitor the time and see how long they have left until the Time Out period is over. No more guessing or negotiating for the parents.
The Time Out lock can also be used to curb a variety of bad habits and can be used to lock up things such as: Cigarettes, alcohol, medication, electronics and more.
The Kickstarter campaign is set to launch on October 21st at 8 EST. You can see the preview link here:
