The judge ordered Fallis, who was arrested Tuesday, be held without bond until he is transferred to Weld County to be formally charged with the murder of his wife on New Year’s Day 2012.

According to the report, Fallis got into an argument with his wife at a party they were having at their house on New Years Eve in 2012. While in the bedroom, Fallis shot his wife in the head..Two of the children were witnesses. According to a witness (neighbor) at the scene, Fallis confessed to the responding officer, and also Fallis’s parents, who have been fighting for custody of the children, probably to keep them quiet…The Chief of the dept (Evans, CO) headed up the investigation, while the govt coroner ruled it a suicide.
So, the parties implicated are the responding officer, the parents, anyone involved with the investigation, including the Chief, and the Coroner.No word on why Fallis left the dept and was living in another state…
