I am actually reading “The reality and spirituality of Life in the Universe.” it is depressing the hell out of me. Most can be taken as the world instead of the universe, it fits in ways. I would not be surprised if much of it is possible. I just really take offence at the idea that to be stable as a “nation ( world )” we would need to suppress creativity and the individual, and work as collectives like the borg. I would go bonkers with out creative outlets. It really is sad because I would love to know other worlds, but not at the cost of my individual creative self.
I guess wisdom really is discretion.

The same happened to me. A lot of my wonderful ideas about life in the Universe just went down the drain.
In fantasy we can image everything we want, wish or prefer. But life in reality, it calls us to be wise, cautious and to be responsible for our own actions. Life in the Universe is not much different from life on earth, they too are bound to the conditions of this physical universe.
To offset the Intervention, nations in this world would need to work together as one World. We don’t need to like each other but we, the people, would need to stand up for humanity as a whole.
In the future there will be far less personal freedom as we know today, but individual freedom will still exist.
Should we fail to offset the intervention, then our life are going to be like the borg. No freedom, no creativity and no individual. We will become a human resource to them (aliens).

I totally agree with you. We don’t need any intervention and we should start working togther.
According to Greater Community rules of conduct within the region in which our world exists, Intervention is not allowed unless it can be demonstrated that the native people welcome and approve of it. Here, our voices can have power in the Greater Community. At this moment the Intervention has few critics.
But if enough people can become aware of it and speak out against it, the Intervention will be thwarted and must withdraw. This is the first step in humanity’s preparation for dealing with the realities of life in the Universe. This step and all the steps that follow give humanity its one great chance to overcome its long-standing conflicts and to unite in its own defense for the preservation of the world.
The Allies affirm that we as human beings have the spiritual and collective power to do this and that we must do this if we want to survive and advance as a free and independent race in the Greater Community.
