Black is right, 98% conviction rate is 3rd world. I did fed and county time, I saw innocent people about 25% took plea deals to avoid wrongful convictions. I was offered a reduced sentence ro rat, I refused, feds slammed me in a box. The county convicted me of assault with a dangerous weapon, I’m x golden gloves champion, my hands are dangerous to the guy I caught burglarizing my home, I had no right in MA to beat him in my front yard after he ran out my door. I was stopping him from getting away, but I did fuck him up, but rightfully so. They offered me after 6 months no bail, 18 months instead of 3 to 7 yrs. I refused, I won’t plead when innocent. The judge saw how emphatic I was, against prosecutions recommendation gave me suspended sentence with probation. Conviction rates of 98% prove corruption and a win at all cost, even convicting people they know are innocent, but that resume is needed to shift to private practice.

They can do so with impunity because they hold all the evidence. Even with cases being completely unfounded, they still get their victim, because they can drag out the case long enough to ruin entire businesses. And these career lawyers with their North Korean conviction rate are the same who end up in the higher positions – within the DOJ, the FBI and the CIA. Careless egomaniacal rouges rise to positions where they can regulate the interpretation of the laws and the constitution and create any precedent they like. Comey, Brennan, McCabe, Strzock, Wiessman, Mueller, Lynch, Foxx (yes, they can just as easily thow a case like Smollett’s with impunity)… And the House of Representatives, what do they do? They pass out more and more shortsighted paragraphs, making the law murkier still – until we reach present day conditions, where it has become possible to prosecute anyone for having a coherent chain of independent thoughts and making life for the predatory career vultures even easier – while doing absolutely nothing to pass laws to implement corrective measures through some effective oversight over this infestation of corruption as a career path.
