As a vet who has spent years going rounds with the VA, I’d really like to see the VA take a hit. But apparently these people are above the law. This really gets under my skin.
The man was fired for taking opioids for himself. He should have been arrested. Why is this man not in jail?

When I was in the Navy 87-91, I was stabbed by another service member. I almost died. But I recovered, stayed in the military to finish my 4 yrs, and went on to serve in Desert Storm. After 6 yrs of trying to get into the VA, for a physical checkup, I have had a hearing test. That’s it. They keep denying me access. They say they can’t find proof I was stabbed (I have the documents that they refuse to look at) and I can get access to the vaccination program I went through to go to Desert Storm, which I believe has caused serious side effects over my lifetime (I’m 51 now). I was honorably discharged, so they have no real reason to keep blocking me. I’ve given up. I had hopes that Trump would clean things up, give us a card to use regular hospitals if necessary, but it appears nothing is going to change.
