The Tea Party Patriots, one of the most prominent organizations within the fiscally conservative tea party movement, says Mitt Romney lost the election because he was a “weak moderate” candidate that was “hand-picked” by the establishment GOP.
In a move which has alarmed the very grassroots Republican activists that Mitt Romney needs badly to win, the first day of the Republican convention saw a major floor fight erupt over new rules which would, in the words of Michael Duncan at Freedomworks: “strip grassroots activists of any meaningful ability to participate in presidential politics.“
Let’s not forget that the IRS commish was appointed by Bush.
Who was greater threatened by the Tea Party. Democrats, or the GOP? Remember how hard the Romney camp fought Ron Paul (tea party) supporters?
The Democrats loved it, because it detracted from the GOP’s base, and caused major infighting.
Let’s look at this logically, and drop the Democrat against Republican nonsense. Who benefitted more from targeting the tea party?
