Possible Meteor Impact In The Gulf Of Mexico
If many of you can remember back to 2007 and 2008 you will see and you will remember meteors that break the sound barrier were almost non-existent according to the American Meteor Society database. How and why that number today averages around 400 fireball reports per year is anyone’s guess. Why so many meteors are breaking the sound barrier is always open for speculation. Equally perplexing is how and why a giant fireball over Texas gets reported on every major news network. Yet, a week later an object equally as impressive, that may have impacted the Gulf of Mexico, gets zero attention.
