Special May 4th Breakfast Meeting

Join us on Saturday, May 4 from 10AM – 12PM for the official Philadelphia Juneteenth Breakfast Meeting with West Philadelphia Community Leaders and Businesses to be held at the Lucien E. Blackwell West Philadelphia Regional Library, 125 S 52nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19139.

Learn about what to expect during the 2019 Philadelphia Juneteenth Parade & Festival coming to West Philadelphia on Saturday, June 22. More than 10,000 individuals will descend on 52nd Street and at Malcolm X Park on June 22nd to celebrate the history of Juneteenth, watch the two-mile long cultural parade and enjoy a festival at Malcolm X Park where Kindred the Family Soul will perform!

Over 1,700 individuals have registered to participate in this year’s Juneteenth Parade. We have marching bands, cheerleading teams, dance teams, drum lines, floats, clubs, nonprofit organizations and much more!

The 2019 Juneteenth Parade is more than double in size compared to previous years. This will be an exciting moment in our history! The parade will be televised in a special broadcast on 6abc and live broadcast on Radio One.

Don’t miss your chance to be in the parade. The last day to register is Wednesday, May 1st. All registrations must be received at http://juneteenthphilly.org/parade/ by 11:59pm for consideration.

Registration for festival vendors will remain open until Saturday, May 18. However, limited space is available and registration may close earlier if the festival reaches capacity.
