Fear Not--3 Reasons Armageddon Is Yet Future

The proxi war in Syria may well flare-up in the near future. US (and coalition partners) may strike basis on Syrian soil, and Russia (and their partners) may strike back.  As serious as these statements are, they do NOT indicate the Battle of Armageddon is at the door. The why is noted below.

REASONS THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON IS YET FUTURE:

1. The God/Magog (Ezekiel 38-39) war provides an Old Testament glimpse of the Battle of Armageddon. Ezekiel 38-39 reference the battle of Armageddon. The Battle of Armageddon will take place at the end of the 7 year Tribulation period profiled in the book of Revelation (chapters 16-20). We have not yet entered into this last phase of history.

3. The Tribulation begins with the signing of a Peace Covenant (Daniel 9:27). This Peace Covenant is brokered by the Antichrist, centers-on Israel, likely leads to the rebuilding of the 3rd Temple, and is broken at the mid-point of the Tribulation (Rev. 13; Isaiah 28:14-16, 18). All of these events must happen BEFORE the battle of Armageddon begins.

5. The Battle of Armageddon takes place at a time when Israel is “at ease,” “dwells in safety” and “is a land of unwalled villages.” (Ezekiel 38).  These terms certainly do not discribe Israel today. A number of things must happen to facilitate this profound sense of peace and ease (which again, precedes the Battle of Armageddon). Most believe the following three things must first take place:

7.   1) The Psalm 83 War (profiled in the video teaching below)

9. 2) the destruction of Damascus (noted in Isaiah 17 and in the video teaching presented below) and  
10.  
11. 3) the signing of the Peace Agreement with the Antichrist.

• So then, we should not spend our time fearing a war, but on preparing spiritually for the return of the Lord. A rapture is coming.
