When God Removes Your Watchmen

  Once the warnings of the watchmen have been delivered, God may have them cease, or the watchmen that you knew may be retired at length with younger troops come as replacements.

  “Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.”  Ezekiel 33:1-5

  God calls some of us to be watchmen upon the walls and in the high towers of the land.  He calls us to make up the gap in the hedge, and to fortify the walls.  And so, if we do as He says and warn the people, and then judgment as well as evil comes, the blood of the people is on their heads and not the watchmen.

  A time comes however when the watchmen retires, at some length on his post he must prepare for his replacements, as younger men come to take his post. 

  “The word of the Lord came again to me, saying, Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it: Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God.” Ezekiel 14:12-14

  At some length a watchmen comes to understand that the people might not realize that they have to follow the word of God more so then the word of men, more so than the theology of their religion because religion can deceive them, as well as the many false christ and false prophets across the land.  And so, we have this situation where the watchmen realizes that he can not save people as he would want, he can only save but him self.

  Now it is true that today more people are awake to the fact of things than ever before, but they are also subscribing to sources of false information as well as false prophets who mislead them.  They are being pulled out to the side by those who are seeking an audience for gain, through their gain sayings.  And hence there are many who say what they say because they expect to gain something, and lies are just as good as anything to say to obtain an audience.

  Well watchmen do have to retire one day, and then the people are left to decide for themselves to follow in the way of the watchmen’s warnings or not.  Right now across this land many of you are under the influence of many false prophets and false christ with all of their daily publications.  And you do not realize that you are caught up by the entertainment of it all, it entertains you more than it informs you and you have the two confused.  But your sources are only leading you to destruction, they are not helping you to become prepared for the days ahead.

  I can imagine that at some point God will tell the watchmen that their work is done, since at that point those who have heeded the call have done so and the rest are those who can not be saved because they are caught up by the deception of the false prophets and are not about to leave their narrative, who will cling to the storyline at their own peril and destruction.
