This is completely dependent upon the structure of your website. In most cases, the problem with the URL is that it looks bad or is difficult to understand. It might have too many extra characters, or use only characters making them unreadable. When the default URLs are generated with the help of CMS applications, they are neither keyword-friendly nor reader-friendly. These might be unique, but, will definitely alienate your targeted audience.

3.   Product Pages Lack Optimization: Most people are still in the researching phase of their purchase cycle, and hence broader keywords will help drive more traffic. So, you will need to ensure that the product descriptions and product pages have the broader keywords. You will need to optimize the pages for both targeted customers, as well as search engines. 4.   Improper Homepage links: The homepage button is supposed to lead you to the root of the website, or what is called the homepage; the page that has links to all the products and other pages. Some websites, however, take you to another page and not the homepage. Without appropriate homepage redirect, you would be diluting link equity. This will definitely affect your SEO performance.

5.  Lack of SEM & SEO Collaboration: SEO (search engine optimization) and SEM (search engine marketing) have a tendency to not work together. Your website will have a lot to lose, when these two concepts fail to work together. When these two aspects fail to work together, the following scenarios happen:
