The Eye-Opening Deleted Scene Gillette Did Not Want You to See in Their Hyper-Viral Video!

Yesterday I launched the video entitled: “Gillette’s TOXIC Ad Scores “Virtue” Points… and Then There’s THIS!!.” When I do commentary videos like this I end up watching the video I’m commenting on at least a dozen times…So, naturally I get use to the progression of the video.

While I was researching info and making the commentary on my last video entitled “Soy-laden CBS Panelists Say the Darndest Things About Gillette Ad” I noticed that CBS had a version of the Gillette ad that was different from the one I grabbed from YouTube to do my original commentary video. There was a three or four second clip in the version CBS showed that was NOT in the version I downloaded….which is supposed to be the exact same video.

Now, I initially thought this video was edited within YouTube’s platform using the editing tool. When you edit within the platform you don’t jeopardize losing views, comments and likes and dislikes. Beyond trimming out segments, adding an end screen or a card or blurring things out…you CAN’T insert anything into the video within the platform. Do do that, you would have to take the video down, alter the video and reupload it. What’s interesting here is that YOUTUBE allowed Gillette to significantly alter this video while NOT losing views. This means that Gillette was allowed to replace the video with a newer version without losing views, comments and likes. Which is very interesting.

Check this out. In the upper Left had corner is the original ad downloaded directly from the Gillette YouTube channel YESTERDAY.

Below that on the bottom left is the same video but it’s not a download, it’s a video screen capture THAT I CAPTURED TODAY.

Top right is a video screen captured VERSION of the CBS segment on the Gillette ad…CAPTURED TODAY

And below it on the bottom right is the same segment only ITS THE DOWNLOADED VERSION.

BY THE WAY, CBS uploaded their video on January 18^th, but recorded their segment when Gillette had 970k downvotes…which was somewhere around the second day of the Gillette upload. Since Gillette uploaded their video on the 13^th…that would place their version around the 14^th, but it’s hard to tell based on Downvotes since we’ve already seen that that number is severely manipulated. Now I synchronized these videos from this point right here where the thought balloon initially appears that says “everyone hates you”

Watch the subtle differences in this initial progression….

Notice in the current version of Gillette’s video, when the first kid who’s being chased and bullied by the other kids comes out…he passes in front of the text balloons. IN the CBS version which was an earlier versions, the kid is lagging behind the current version and breaks THROUGH the text balloons. But stay with me because that’s not the removed sequence I want you to see. I just want to show you that This current version that you see on Gillette’s channel (as of the recording of this video) could not have been edited on YouTube’s platform. It had to be replaced by a re-upload.

Now keep in mind I’m not editing anything here. I’m letting these videos run side by side as they ran in each original airing.

Now beside the fact that in the current version that’s now playing on YouTube has three TV sets change from old TV to modern white framed TV, to modern BLACK framed TV….here’s the clip that they took out of CBS’s older version of this ad. After the white people partying scene…we see what looks like a black rapper with two scantily clad black women dancing provocatively and ending with the black guy clearly objectifying these women as he grabs both of their asses before all the scenes switch back to the white kids sitting there on the couch watching TV.

So you tell me what you guys think? Why would they cut that part out of the video? I have my theory but if I voice them there’s a chance I’ll be terminated again. I haven’t seen anybody deal with this edited version of this popular Gillette diversion and division tactic propaganda video…so share this video with everybody you know and let’s see what people are saying.

One thing’s for sure, YOUTUBE allowed Gillette to removed the video and replace it with an edited version without losing the videos trending status on their platform. Another thing is clear…they removed a piece of the video that doesn’t fit with the overall agenda of framing white guys as toxic objectifiers of women.
